Tags - Also known as keywords, are words used to define a blog post, image, video or bookmark for search engines. It is very important to use tags and to keep them simple and specific.
HTML - Hypertext Markup Language is the programing code used to create web pages. It is a <tag> based language which makes it simple to learn.

RSS feed - AKA 'Real Simple Syndication', is a new technology used on the web to broadcast information and media in real time. Similar to how one subscribes to cable television and then receives an image on their TV, an individual can subscribe to an RSS feed and receive up to date information and media.
Share - To email, link or embed (in a blog), an image, video or bookmark.
Blogger
Blog - Short for web log, a website that can display text, images, videos & sound and broadcast the text and media as a RSS Feed. Content is uploaded to the web as 'Posts'. Every Post is time stamped and displayed chronologically. Blogs can be manipulated to look however you wish and can contain any elements found on a traditional website.
Dashboard - The area where you can make layout, font, color & template changes to your blog as well as create a new post to your blog. It is the work area for your blog.
Gadget - Found in the 'Layout' section of your dashboard in Blogger, gadgets are little pre-made programs that can add useful and interesting elements to your blog. For example, if you wanted to put a poll on your blog, it is considered a gadget.
Post - The content of a blog. Can contain text and/or any digital media. Each post is time stamped and is displayed at the top of your blog.
Flickr
Collections - Like the Set is to a folder of images, the Collection is a folder full of 'Sets'

Contacts - Individuals whose Flickr accounts you have subscribed to or who have subscribed to you. This allows for the creation of 'Groups', the ability to view locked (Family/Friends) images and up to date images through RSS Feeds from your contacts.
Groups - A group contains a collection of images, usually on a specific subject, by different individuals.
Organize - The area on Filckr where you can batch organize your images by adding tags, making sets or collections, change permissions, add images to a group and set the images on a world map. It is the work area for your images on Flickr.
Permissions - Images can be set with different levels of protection from completely open for everyone to see and use to completely locked so only you can see and use the image.
Sets - Think of them like a folder on your computer that contains a bunch of image files.

Upload - The process of transferring videos and images from your computer to the internet.
Youtube
Channel - The main web page of a Youtube account. This web page contains information and access to videos from a youtube account owner.
Favorites - A collection of your favorite videos found on Youtube.
Groups - A collective of individuals who create and upload videos based on a specific subject. you may join as many groups as you want or create a new one.
Playlists - A collection of videos usually concerned with a simular subject. example...a playlist could contain 12 videos you want to use for a specific class.
Subscribers - Individuals who have connected to your Youtube channels RSS Feed. subscribers can see your videos as soon as you upload new ones

Bookmarks - A list of links to your favorite or most useful websites.
Subscriptions - Subscriptions are a way to see the recent bookmarks that everybody has saved with the tags that you're interested in. After you add a tag to your subscriptions, the latest bookmarks for that tag will appear on this page. You can subscribe to multiple tags to create an automatically updated list of interesting bookmarks.
