Unusual For Sale Poster

For this project you will be creating an unusual 'For Sale' poster. You've seen them before, stapled onto telephone poles or pasted onto buildings, hanging in store windows and on the cork boards in the library. The For Sale poster is a subversive piece of propraganda put into the general community to influence people. Sometimes the posters are used to generate awareness or sell an old item. They are also used to help find a pet or to promote a band. These posters are a certain size, any color paper can be used and are printed in contrasty black & white in quanity. Your job as an artist is to create a 'For Sale' poster for something that no one would usually sell.
whats due:
- your final design needs to be uploaded to your Flickr account and sent to the Art216 group.
- your final design needs to be printed 20 times
Guidelines
The posters have to fit on a 8.5 " x 11" piece of paper.
You are subverting the For Sale poster and twisting it to the purposes of art. Figure out the visual qualities of these posters and go from there.
