Re-Ad Design

The computer gives us the ability to copy and alter images seamlessly. For this project you will find 2 print advertisements that you think you'll have fun altering satirically. Scan the advertisements you find and use photoshop to re-create the ad, putting in new images and text as necesssary. Make sure to keep the integrity of the original ad, it's logo's style and font. This project is about subtle image subversion. Can you create an image that fools the eye?
What should you do?
- Go out into consumer America and find 2 print advertisements
- Scan the original print Ads at 240dpi or higher
- Use the scans as the background of your project in photoshop (don't forget to save a second copy)
- Re-design the advertisement. Your challenge is to make a satirical statement by subverting the style and format of the original advertisement.
- Print your file. Consider the look of the original as you choose a paper type
- Have your Ad ready for presentation on 04/8
- Print quality is important!
