Fabric Design

This project explors Patterns and Fabric design. How do patterns work? What are their history? Do you know who William Morris is? How is printing on paper different then printing on fabric? For this project you will create 4 different patterens. Your patterens will be judged by the class and the best one will be printed 42" x 36" on Cotten Cloth using www.spoonflower.com.
whats due:
- your final images need to be uploaded to your Flickr account and sent to the Art216 group.
- you need to hand in your final Jpegs to Joe on your USB Thumb drive.
Guidelines
* you need to create patterns
* the patterns must be able to repeate
* watch your colors, printing on cloth is very differnt then paper
Due: April 27th at the beginning of class. We will be picking the best during class.
